The Problem
Digital technology has changed the way mammograms are imaged and interpreted.
Our client, a major player in the field of traditional and digital radiography, wanted to help its customers learn how to deliver the highest quality radiographic images.
Prometheus Approach/Solution
Our audience consisted of radiographers and radiographic technicians – busy people with complex professional and personal lives. Our client told us that these people needed the flexibility to access training just about anywhere, and just about anytime of the day. And, because they were subject to professional licensing and accreditation requirements, our audience would be extremely interested in taking courses that carried Medical Continuing Education credit.
We worked with our client to determine the appropriate certifying body, and to identify its requirements for certification-worthy coursework.
We created an e-learning module that met the certifying body’s requirements, using the client’s products as a means of illustrating the concepts described in the module.
We created a certification test that met the requirements of the certifying body.
We worked with our client to create a deployment mechanism that would allow access to these courses through the Internet, with 24/7 availability, while meeting the tracking and reporting requirements of the certifying body.

Result/Benefit to Client
Many radiographic professionals completed this e-learning course. Our client received unsolicited feedback from end-users, praising the courses and thanking the client for offering them.
- Our client had a series of training modules that it could offer to end users, as a way to strengthen customer relationships and encourage customers to visit its website.
- Customers (hospitals and clinics) had a site where they could refer their end-users for professional development and certification.
- End-Users had a source of interesting, engaging and meaty courses on topics relevant to their professional interests. They also had the opportunity to obtain CE credit for completing these modules.
