Building a Testing Strategy that Meets Your Needs
At Prometheus, we believe that testing needs to be strategic. It should be built to accomplish specific goals. And it should be deployed so as to provide the data needed to meet those goals.
Of course, each client's goals are a bit different. That's why we believe so strongly in customizing your testing strategy to your specific needs.
- Which skills to test for
- Which test format to use
- Who needs to get the test data, and when they need to get it
Our Instructional Designers will work with you upfront to identify your organization’s testing goals, as well as any systems constraints or industry-specific requirements that must be met. Based on that input, we can create strategic testing materials that take your organization where it needs to go.
No More Cookie-Cutter Tests!
We have successfully created a wide variety of testing formats for our clients, such as:
- Pencil-and-Paper (traditional multiple choice, fill-in, true-false, etc)
- Simulation Testing (demonstrate skills using a simulated software or hardware system)
- Observation Testing (demonstrate skills in front of an expert observer)
- Scenario Testing (solve a case-study problem)
- Team Testing (perform a specific task or solve a problem as a team)
- Game-Based Testing (tests that entertain as well as reinforce new skills)
As needed, tests also includes detailed Facilitator Notes, to guide you through giving the test, scoring the test, providing learner reinforcement and feedback, and deploying the test scores.
